22nd Annual Convention & Trade Show: November 13 & 14
The Kansas Cattlemen’s Association’s 22nd Annual Convention and Trade Show will kick off on Friday, November 13, 2020. The event will take place at the Courtyard by Marriott Convention Center in Junction City, Kansas. KCA is currently scheduling presentations and will release additional details as they become available.
Concerns for health and safety are of the utmost importance to KCA and the Marriott Convention Center. Extra care is being taken to plan a convention space that is clean and safe while allowing for much-needed interactions. Protocols for social distancing opportunities, occupancy, and other protective steps will be followed per local and state mandates.
The KCA membership will hold the annual KCA business meeting that Friday afternoon. The meeting consists of policy resolution review and approval. A mail-in ballot will then ratify the membership meeting decisions. Friday evening will include a casual and entertaining competition and social time for attendees.
Saturday, November 14th, 2020, is set to be a day full of expert speakers. Presentation topics will include Animal Husbandry, Cattle Market Discussions, Industry Status Updates, Alternative Protein Studies, and much more. Additionally, the Trade Show times have been dramatically expanded to provide plenty of time for attendees to converse and catch up.
The convention will close with an evening social, the KCA Annual Benefit Auction, and finally the KCA Banquet
The KCA Trade Show will take place concurrent to the convention. The trade show covers feed, pharmaceuticals, equipment, insurance, financial and commodity services, legal services, and much more. Visit the free trade show November 13th from 9am to 3:30pm and November 14th 8am to 4:30pm.
